OUR HISTORY
Utility and Industrial Supply, LLC (UIS) was established in September, 2015 by Monica and Kyle Montero. In 2015, UIS started with the support of 20 manufacturers and in the past 5 years, we have expanded our business and the lines we represent to over 200 manufacturers. As a full service distributor, UIS provides electrical and industrial maintenance, repair, and operating products (MRO) servicing the needs for utility generation, transmission and distribution (T&D) and substations for both Investor Owned Utilities and Public Power. In the industrial market, UIS provides products to oilfield service companies focused on electrical services and MRO safety products supporting inland and offshore oil and gas companies. Our customers are our commitment, and we are committed to supplying excellence, service and value.
With over 25 years of experience servicing electric utilities, UIS is currently doing business with all investor owned utilities (IOU’s), municipalities, and electric cooperatives in Louisiana.
